This basic Spanish course represents the first sublevel of A2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It is the first of two parts needed to complete the full A2 level. Over 30 hours of interactive online Spanish classes, you will practice in real-life situations to strengthen your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while gaining the confidence to express yourself naturally.
Classes are held live on Zoom in small groups of up to 6 students, creating a supportive environment for personalized attention, real-time feedback, and plenty of speaking practice with your teacher and classmates.
Objectives of the Spanish Course Basic Level – A2 (CEFR)
By completing this course, you will be able to:
Understand common phrases and everyday expressions related to immediate needs (e.g., personal details, family, shopping, work, or your surroundings).
Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a direct exchange of information on familiar topics.
Describe in simple terms your past, your environment, and matters related to immediate needs.
Handle essential situations while traveling in a Spanish-speaking country: shopping, ordering food in a restaurant, or expressing likes and preferences.
During the course, you will also:
Talk about past experiences, express future plans and projects, and give simple opinions.
Expand your vocabulary to describe people, places, and situations in more depth.
Strengthen your grammar, including past tenses, near future, and basic connectors to join ideas.
Improve all four language skills through interactive activities, games, group work, and practical exercises.
